The Girl Behind The Lens

My love for photography developed during my high school career when I joined a media arts class and photography club. My side hobby grew into a passion and the year after photography club was removed my friends and I brought it back. I took photos for our school newspaper and other clubs while being the President of the reformed club. I then moved on to do personal photoshoots for friends and family.

Another passion of mine is music and related activities such as dance, singing, song writing, and musical theater. I'm the one who can never choose a favorite song because I love so many from a variety of genres. Just like photography, music is an art that anyone can understand while still taking away something completely different. When one is speechless there will always be a song that finds the words for them.

I feel it's important people recognize they are not alone in their struggles. This is something I try to share through my art whether in the form of pictures, words, or motion. There are others who have been down the same rough and dark roads as well as through the highs and joyous moments of life. You are never alone and you are always loved even at the times where you feel lost. Hold on to the hope, for there is a light ahead.
